Google Maps has been providing great services in the West. Now Google Maps gives you driving directions in India. I have been using it on my mobile phone when visiting new places. You can install Google Maps in your phone by visiting m.google.com from your mobile if it is Java enabled. Andriod, iPhone, Blackberry are also supported. However, some Windows Mobile phones are also supported and Nokia phones with old Symbion OS is not supported.

If your need to look up a map your first destination might be Google Maps. However, Google Maps is useful only for reference but not for commercial use. Any company offering mapping services charges a fee for commercial use of information. However, OpenStreetMap saves the day. It’s a open mapping service which can be edited like a wiki. It provides data just like Google Maps. Also, unlike Google Maps it provides data under a creative commons license.

Here is a cool language translator which is really nice. You might have tried Google Translator or Yahoo Babel Fish, they stand nowhere when nicetranslator gives you a translation. It uses Google Translation API. It gives you better translation when compared to other services. Try it and you will agree with me.

I have already discussed about Urge Me a email reminder which reminds you several times. However, there is another cool email reminder service ‘YourLi.st’. Email reminder services could handy to remember birthdays, meetings and  online events such as eBay auctions. You just have to provide the event, your email, and any text which would help you remember the event(this is optional). You cant hen select the dat from calendar and the time and your time zone. You can choose when a reminder should be sent to your email say 1 day before a event or 1 week before a event. Also, you can choose from a plain email of a fancy HTML formatted email or one optimized for your Blackberry.
