Google Maps has been providing great services in the West. Now Google Maps gives you driving directions in India. I have been using it on my mobile phone when visiting new places. You can install Google Maps in your phone by visiting m.google.com from your mobile if it is Java enabled. Andriod, iPhone, Blackberry are also supported. However, some Windows Mobile phones are also supported and Nokia phones with old Symbion OS is not supported.

Google search URLs are pretty long and they sometmes break when being sent in IMs. Here’s a solution to shorten the Google search URLs. It’s easy to do. Just use keywords followed by http://gog.is/i.e. http://gog.is/( your keywords here). For example your are searching for ‘Hotel reviews’ use the URLs in the format http://gog.is/hotel+reviews or http://gog.is/hotel,reviews or http://gog.is/hotel/reviews/
