He’s a handsome guy and now a very popular shooter who tries to keep away from the media. He describes everything in his blog. The whole Indian nation is looking out for him searching him on google, reading all the news about him. Does he deserve all this? Of course, he does, not for the Olympic gold medal but for the person he is. Remember what he said after winning Gold – “Anybody could have won today but it was my day.”

This guys is going to be very rich now because the total amount Bindra is going to get when he comes home is Rs 2.01 crore.( Will he loose some money for tax ?? :( ) He’s a crorepati now without participating in KBC. Also the Railway ministry is ready to offer him a Golden pass for free lifetime tavel in AC first class.

Finally, FOSS community could see light on the other end of the tunnel. Yeah, the tunnel is in college. I was checking if everything was set up for the event. We had a Linux system connected to the projector. An attender was setting up the mike. he suddenly unplugged the CPU power supply while GRUB was loading the OS. The boot loader was gone. Unfortunately we had to use a Windows to carry out the presentation. I don’t understand why do things mess up in the last second.

Yeah, campus recruitment fever is on every campus during the last academic year in most of the Engineering Colleges in Andhra Pradesh. Getting placed in a company is necessary for some students due to poor financial background, some need a job to show off or just to boost their confidence, for others it just might be a prestige issue. But are students really aware of how can their life be changed after being placed in a company. Various factors are involved which influence one’s future after or before one is placed. Anyway, no student really bothers about all this, because once you are in final year every person you know enquires if you are placed or not. However, now it’s about the pre-final year students as various companies want to have the top graduates they are competing with each other for conducting early recruitment process. So, now-a-days students get a job easily in pre-final year.
